SIP IS READY FOR ITS CLOSE-UP

While mainly enjoying small-scale deployments, session initiation protocol has been heralded as the future protocol of convergence for some time now. At SUPERCOMM, there was a groundswell of efforts to flatten service provider networks and pave the way for SIP applications.
