You’re Invited – Carrier Ethernet Training at CTIA
My recent blog posts have discussed challenges encountered when deploying Y.1731 Ethernet OAM in mobile backhaul networks, and service providers continue to echo this is a key sticking point for scaling out national 3G & LTE networks.
xchange blog readers are invited to a special training session for service providers at CTIA, Las Vegas, March 22-26, conducted by the Carrier Ethernet Academy. This limited attendance event will provide a concise overview of MEF 22 backhaul & MEF 26 NNI standards, as well as introducing the technical aspects of Y.1731 performance monitoring for performance-critical Ethernet networks. Training will be provided by Carrier Ethernet pioneer and MEF board member Craig Easley.
Only 30 spots are available for this event, which will be followed by a moderated, closed-door forum where service providers can share best-practices and network with colleagues from leading mobile operators: network architects from AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and leading backhaul providers have confirmed attendance.
A Web-based videoconference will be held as a simulcast of the event if you are unable to attend in person. Click here to reserve your spot – a confirmation will be sent by e-mail once you register.
