OSS vendor NetCracker today unveils two new products: a facility management module and an integration server module.

The facility management module helps companies manage all their assets – everything from PCs and phones to office furniture and office space. The product is targeted at enterprise companies and at telcos for internal use. Julie Wingerter, vice president of strategy, told XCHANGE in late April that the company was in final negotiations with a telco for this product.

The new integration server module handles work flow for automation. It offers the tools to integrate existing software applications – from NetCracker or other companies like SAP or Siebel – together.

These two new modules are in addition to NetCracker’s existing inventory management, order management and provisioning modules.

In other recent company news, NetCracker has won contracts from Sprint and optical network operators Telepak Networks and New World Network for web-based workflow, which allows the service provider to script business rules and automate business processes.
