Sprint and NetLedger Inc., makers of Oracle Small Business Suite, have partnered to provide small and mid-sized businesses with Sprint FastConnect DSL and
Oracle Small Business Suite, a widely used small business management online service. The Oracle Small Business Suite name is used under license from Oracle Corp.
Sprint will refer Oracle Small Business Suite to its existing Sprint FastConnect DSL customers, as well as to new purchasers of Sprint FastConnect DSL. Sprint customers and prospects will receive a significant discount on Oracle Small Business Suite when purchasing the application solution with Sprint FastConnect DSL through NetLedger.
The two companies will build together a variety of sales and marketing campaigns including direct mail, Web presence, and hi-tech small business seminars. Consistent with Sprint's target customer base, Oracle Small Business Suite is one completely
integrated application to help small businesses manage all of their business processes from accounting and finance, sales and service, Web presence, to employee management.
The local telecommunications division of Sprint, which provides service in 18 states, offers Sprint FastConnect DSL service in approximately 400 communities in 48 major markets.
