SAIC Wins GSA Deal

Telcordia Technologies Inc. parent Science Applications International Corp. has won a contract to provide the General Services Administration Federal Technology Service with telecommunications support services and integrated solutions for federal departments and agencies nationwide.

The Connections Program is a multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and has a three-year base period with five one-year options.

Under the terms of the contract, SAIC and Telcordia and other team members will provide telecommunications support services and solutions to federal government agencies. This will include voice, data and video systems, wire and cable management, wireless systems, billing and account management, customer service and technical support, and other innovative telecommunications solutions.

"This award gives us the opportunity to provide total telecommunications solutions to our federal government clients," said Peter Dube, SAIC senior vice president and manager of the Integrated Network Engineering and Operations Group. "This contract vehicle also enables us to better serve our federal customers and ensure they receive the technology upgrades they need.”

SAIC's team includes American Systems Corp., based in Chantilly, Va.; Arrowhead Global Solutions Inc., based in McLean, Va.; Avaya Government Solutions, based in Washington, D.C.; Futron, Inc., based in High Point, N.C.; HCI Technologies Inc,. based in Sterling, Va.; Management Technology Inc., based in Clinton, Md.; Modern Technologies Corp., based in Dayton, Ohio; Premier Technical Services, based in Sterling, Va.; Parsons Consulting Group, based in Great Falls, Va.; NextiraOne Federal LLC, based in Fairfax, Va.; Qwest Government Services Inc., based in Arlington, Va.; SIGCOM Inc., based in Greensboro, N.C.; T3 Corp., based in Fairmont, W.Va.; and Wheat International Communications Corp., based in Reston, Va.
