Z-Tel Technologies Inc., a Florida-based telephone and Internet provider, has partnered with XO Communications Inc. to provide Web hosting to businesses.
XO on Monday said Z-Tel had selected the telecommunications carrier to provide a co-branded Web hosting service to businesses. XO says it also is providing Z-Tel customer care support and the ability to offer a single bill.
Z-Tel also provides local and long-distance telephone service and Internet access, and as a wholesaler, allows other carriers, including MCI, to offer local phone service across the country.
Z-Tel has an agreement with Covad Communications Co., a broadband wholesale carrier, to provide businesses DSL.
