AT&T Corp. on Wednesday announced entering the local residential phone market in seven states: Delaware, Maine, Nevada, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia.
AT&T, the biggest long-distance phone company, now offers local residential service in 35 states.
