Proxim today unveiled new additions to its popular Lynx and Tsunami point-to-point families of license-exempt radios.
Based on Proxim’s new GX broadband wireless platform, the Lynx.GX, which includes three new models, meets the expanding business needs of telecommunications companies and cellular network operators. Delivering 45mbps full-duplex plus two T1 channels, the Tsunami.GX 90 is designed for enterprises and ISPs that want to extend their LAN and PBX connectivity to remote sites without the substantial costs of duplicating equipment or leasing additional lines. They can also benefit from greater than DS3 level performance at cost-effective Ethernet prices.
The Lynx.GX 4T is available now in the U.S. and Canada for a list price of $13,499. Lynx.GX 8T is available now in the U.S. and Canada for a list price of $14,399. Lynx.GX 4E-BNC is available for customer evaluation now with certification in China expected in April 2004, with a list price of $13,499. And Tsunami.GX 90 + 2xT1 is available now in the U.S. and Canada with a list price of $11,399.
