AT&T Expands Consumer DSL in 11 States

AT&T Corp. has expanded consumer broadband service to 11 states, bringing to 25 the number of states where the company offers residential DSL as part of a package of services.

The new states are Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Rhode Island and Tennessee.

AT&T partners with broadband provider Covad Communications Group Inc. to provide consumers DSL in half the country.
