Federal prosecutors on Monday announced a new indictment against Bernie Ebbers, the former CEO of WorldCom.

The indictment adds six counts against Ebbers, charging him with making false filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to national media reports.

Ebbers was indicted in March on federal charges of securities fraud, conspiracy to commit securities fraud and falsely filing with the SEC in connection with the largest accounting scandal in U.S. history.

Ebbers pleaded not guilty to the original counts filed against him, according to the Associated Press. He is set to go to trial in November.
