As expected, AT&T Corp. is now pushing its consumer VoIP services through cable company partners. The company today announced that Adelphia Communications Corp. will serve as AT&T's preferred broadband solution for customers wishing to sign up for AT&T CallVantage Service in areas served by Adelphia. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
"Adelphia has built a first-class digital high-speed Internet service that can deliver even more than exceptional Web access," said Nancy McGee, Adelphia's senior vice president of marketing. "Offering AT&T CallVantage Service adds to the value of an Adelphia broadband connection and gives our customers greater choice and convenience."
