Qwest Communications International Inc. today introduced a new network-hosted call center solution to reduce large capital, networking, and specialized IT staffing and equipment maintenance costs by up to 50 percent. The solution, called Q Routing, also integrates with VoIP and existing voice technologies.
Q Routing manages inbound, outbound, e-mail and Web-based transactions and works with Centrex, PBX, analog, ISDN, POTS, cellular, VoIP and PC desktop phones. Qwest says the solution removes the physical limitations of call center infrastructure, letting call center agents work in remote and multiple locations. It offers disaster recovery for business continuity, as well as Qwest network IVR service, available through Qwest Web Contact Center.
Qwest calls Q Routing an ideal solution for customers working toward an integrated, IP-network-based call center.
