Subex Systems Highlights Benefits of New Fraud Management Group

At TELECOM '04, Bangalore, India-based Subex Systems (Booth 648), a global telecom software product company, discusses its recent acquisition of the Fraud Management Group of Alcatel. Alcatel now will offer Subex's fraud-management and revenue-assurance solutions, and Subex will be Alcatel's sole partner for fraud management and revenue assurance.

The acquisition added 25 clients to Subex's existing 39-client roster. Subex's customers are Tier 1 service providers such as Global Crossing and Sprint. Subex also partners with other vendors, such as HP, Intel and Tekelec. New clients to Subex as a result of the acquisition include Colt UK, Energis UK, Thus UK, Tiscali Italy and Vodafone Ireland.

Subex also recently announced an agreement to acquire certain assets and liabilities related to the Fraud Centurion product from Lightbridge Inc., a value-added transaction processing company. This move will add 14 new clients to Subex's roster and strengthen Subex's presence in North America. Lightbridge's core support team will transition to Subex's new facility in Denver.

Subex's recently launched integrated platform for revenue maximization, RevMax, offers telecom operators an integrated platform for revenue maximization and eliminates the need to invest piecemeal in point solutions.
