Convergys Corp., the global corporation providing billing, employee care and customer care services, on Thursday announced closing the acquisition of Finali Corp. for $25 million in cash.
Finali, a private company based in Westminster, Colo. northwest of Denver, provides multi-channel contact center service and support.
Its tools produce data to explain the reasons for customer calls. Convergys says the business intelligence can help companies automate transactions more successfully, leading to cost reductions and improvements in customer satisfaction. Finali also provides patented virtual agent technology that helps its clients' customers navigate their Web sites, resulting in fewer phone calls and more online transactions, according to Convergys.
