BelAir Networks, which specializes in wide area Wi-Fi, has unveiled its Complementary Solutions Partner Program with initial technology partners, Airpath and Nomadix. The companies will work with BelAir to provide broadband wireless networks to customers.

"Partnering with the industry's best wireless technology companies will enable us to provide wireless carriers, WISPs and ISPs with the best solution for any broadband deployment, from airports, hotels, or universities to downtowns and larger city-wide networks," says Bernard Herscovich, CEO of BelAir Networks. "Our new partner program will help us deliver on our commitment to offer customers complete, carrier-grade solutions for large metro regions that are easy-to-deploy and manage."

Initially, Airpath and BelAir will offer BelAir's wide-area Wi-Fi infrastructure and Airpath's WiBOSS integrated management and billing services as a one-stop solution for hotels, resorts, conference centers and municipalities looking to offer wide-area Wi-Fi.

Nomadix and BelAir will provide a joint solution that combines the BelAir100 and BelAir200 Wireless Switch Routers on the back end, with Nomadix Access Gateways running the Nomadix Service Engine.

BelAir says it tests its partners’ technologies with the BelAir200 and BelAir100 Wireless Switch Routers to ensure compatibility. The company also requires the solutions must demonstrate added end-user benefits as a result of incorporating BelAir's mesh networking technology.

BelAir will announce more partners during the first quarter.
