Third-party verification company VoiceLog LLC said today it is offering all of its VirtualLogger clients seven years of free RecordingWarehouse service. VirtualLogger provides call center recording.

RecordingWarehouse stores audio and video records for any recorder. It uses VoiceLog’s platform to provide online or archived storage for years in a fortified bunker, which is especially important to vertical industries and other fields that require records to be maintained for up to seven years.

The new program lets VirtualLogger clients continue to receive free online storage for up to three months and continued offline storage for seven years at no additional cost, VoiceLog says.

“Our economies of scale in data storage are so strong that we can afford to offer this service for free,” says Karl Erickson, vice president of information technology at VoiceLog. “And our investments in high-availability technology mean that we can ensure clients their data is safe for years to come.”

For clients who are not VirtualLogger users, RecordingWarehouse is available on a service-bureau basis, regardless of the recorder the center uses. The services are priced per-minute, depending on file type, speed of access and length of storage period.
