Comcast Corp. plans to roll out its Comcast Digital Voice phone service in Boston and Hartford, Conn., next month.
Comcast Digital Voice uses the company’s private IP network. It lets subscribers use their existing phones and numbers to make and receive calls; the service soon will allow users to check voice mail and manage accounts from the Internet.
