ECI Telecom Ltd. said today it has signed an agreement to buy Eastern Communications Co. Inc.’s optical technologies and research division in China. The companies are not disclosing the deal’s terms.
ECI plans to merge Eastern’s operations with its Hangzhou ECI Telecommunications Co. Ltd., which is also located in China.
