Home Town Cable, a broadband provider in Ohio, has settled on the IPTVComplete video solution to deliver video and entertainment services to its more than 5,000 subscribers.
IPTVComplete is a joint product from Eagle Broadband Inc., a provider of broadband, IP and communications technology and services, and GlobeCast, a subsidiary of France Telecom and a satellite services provider.

Home Town Cable will receive a customized bundle of video technology and services, including design and installation of a video head-end from Eagle Broadband; satellite distribution of a video stream ready for distribution over Home Town Cable's last-mile fiber network; and around-the-clock network monitoring and customer service. Home Town Cable says using IPTVComplete lets the company offer video and secure content while reducing upfront capital expenses.
