EmergeCore Networks, a provider of network technologies for SMBs, is boosting its product line with a rack-mounted version of its IT IN A BOX IT-100 network appliance, and is developing VoIP functionality to add to future versions of IT IN A BOX.
The company made the announcement this week at Interop.
The current version of the IT-100 supports up to 25 users. Meanwhile, EmergeCore is developing a higher-end model that will handle up to 75 users; the company expects to launch its new products and functionalities during the third quarter of this year. Pricing has not been announced.
In addition to providing wired or wireless connectivity and basic network infrastructure, the IT-100 appliance includes a CRM application, which lets users manage centralized customer information and share customer data across the organization.
