OSG Billing Services late last week announced an agreement to manage invoice presentment and distribution services for Consolidated Telecommunications Company (CTC), a communications cooperative in Brainerd, Minn.
CTC provides telecommunications services to its customers, who are the company owners. CTC wants OSG Billing Services to provide invoice consultation services, and design, print and mail services.
CTC says it now has access to increased messaging resources and highlight color capabilities that emphasize important invoice information. CTC also is using OSG’s Dynamic Messaging feature, which provides online access to create or change messages that include graphics.
OSG also is offering CTC access to other online programs designed to improve the billing process.
"CTC is an ILEC …in the process of becoming a CLEC … and it is necessary that our invoices reflect our evolving status,” says Bill Stroot, director of operations for CTC. “In the past, CTC had limitations due to the pre-printed solution we were utilizing. It is important that the CTC invoice is easy to read, less confusing to our customers and projects more professional look. OSG Billing Services provides us with the tools we need to accomplish this transformation."
