BellSouth Corp. has revamped the pricing of its FastAccess DSL service for residential customers.
The U.S.’s third-largest local phone company is touting one monthly price, with no shipping and handling or activation fees.
BellSouth’s FastAccess DSL Lite, with downstream speeds up to 256Kbps, now costs $24.95 per month. The FastAccess DSL Ultra, with downstream speeds up to 1.5mbps, now is available for $32.95 per month. Finally, FastAccess DSL Xtreme, with downstream speeds up to 3mbps, runs $42.95 per month.
BellSouth also has lowered the price of its modems and gateways to $75. Customers can make those payments in 10 monthly installments or receive the devices for free after rebate if they order online.
