NCE Chooses SBC’s PremierSERV HIPCS

SBC Communications Inc. said today it has landed a five-year contract to provide a hosted VoIP network to San Diego, Calif.-based NCE Computer Group, a data storage service and provider of integrated storage solutions.

NCE opted for SBC’s PremierSERV Hosted IP Communication Service (HIPCS), a VoIP service that combines voice and data communications on one network.

NCE says the service will add flexibility to its call-management systems and increase productivity among call staff because it can be accessed remotely.
