arca technologies ltd., a developer of test, analysis and simulation equipment for the telecommunications industry, has added new features to its flagship emutel|Harmony VoIP and legacy interface test system.
The upgrades include a new VoIP call generation module, based on Intel Pentium M technology, which offers higher call rates at a lower cost than other options, according to the company The platform also has a multifunction module that combines several interfaces each of E1/T1, BRI-S, analog FXS and analog FXO on one module, enabling a compact, low-cost solution for applications where a small number of different interfaces need to be tested.
“The new features released for the emutel|Harmony deliver new levels of functionality, reliability and affordability,” says Aubrey Sayers, vice president of sales. “Customers such as developers of small voice gateways and VoIP-enabled PABXs can now purchase emutel|Harmony with the right mix of interfaces at the right price. The same script authoring and reporting tools are available as on the larger emutel|Harmony systems.”
Providing an integrated IP and TDM platform, the product is an advanced bulk call tester that offers detailed protocol analysis, extensive call statistics and QoS measurements.
