TelCove, a provider of telecommunications services to enterprises and carriers, today introduced three on-net business continuity/disaster recovery storage services for small, medium, and large customers.
The services, part of TelCove’s business continuity/disaster recovery portfolio, are E-Vaulting, Remote Shared Storage service and IP Storage Transport.
E-Vaulting connects customers to TelCove’s on-net, remote storage facility where data is backed up on TelCove’s storage platform. The system supports recovery options ranging from the single-file level to a ‘bare-metal’ restore for all servers, desktops and notebooks.
The Remote Shared Storage service connects customers to TelCove’s remote storage location. Data is backed up to dedicated capacity on TelCove’s storage platform using the back-up/recovery software of the customer’s choosing.
Finally, using a fibre channel over IP-enabled transport, the IP Storage Transport service lets customers extend their SANs over greater distances to meet disaster recovery location requirements and leverage remote storage.
TelCove is offering its services on a stand-alone or bundled basis.
