Radio Waves Inc. (Booth 410), a provider of microwave antennas, has announced that its SPD series now can cover the 3.3GHz to 3.6GHz or 3.5GHz to 3.8GHz frequency bands.

Radio Waves now offers a dual-polarity version of its 3.5GHz dish that is ideal for WiMAX networks. Providing coverage down to 3.3GHz makes these parabolic dishes usable in numerous frequencies employed internationally, including those used in China.

The dual-polarity capability allows network operators to improve reliability or capacity depending on the radio features.

These Radio Waves antennas are available in diameters from 2 feet to 8 feet, and come with a three-year warranty backed by service and support.

Radio Waves, founded in 1983, is a leader in microwave antennas for unlicensed ISM and UNII bands, WiMAX, MMDS (2.5GHz and 3.5GHz), LMDS, and point-to-multipoint and point-to-point microwave applications. Radio Waves provides microwave antennas for cellular base station interconnects, Internet service providers, hospitals and campus environments, private networks, disaster recovery and many other applications.
