TelePacific Communications, a provider of business telecommunications network solutions headquartered in California, has expanded its territory in the Stockton area to include Ripon, Lathrop, Manteca and Merced. The new areas will support new and existing customers from TelePacific's acquisition in March of this year of Pac-West Telecomm's small and medium enterprise business.

TelePacific also now offers expanded service in the Sacramento area, including Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Rio Vista and Roseville, through an arrangement with Frontier Telephone and SureWest Communications.

"We are excited to have the opportunity to expand our presence in the Stockton and Greater Sacramento areas, and to provide business customers with best-in-class products and one-on-one customer care," says TelePacific's president and CEO Dick Jalkut. "Our expanded territory allows TelePacific to provide its personalized services to the local market and benefits multilocation customers in these areas and throughout the state."

With its expansion in both markets, TelePacific now serves more than 420 wire centers (local calling areas) throughout California. With service coverage in the territories of Frontier, SBC Communications Inc., SureWest and Verizon Communications Inc., TelePacific provides a unique value to multilocation businesses: a single-service-provider solution for all of a customer's voice and data communications needs.

TelePacific's Central Valley General Manager Andrew Paretti, and Chris Ruane, general manager of Sacramento sales, say the company is excited about the potential for growth in both areas as well as its ability to offer business customers in the Sacramento and Stockton areas a choice for handling their telecommunications needs.
