World Wide Packets, which makes carrier Ethernet products, has added the LE-310 to its LightningEdge product family.
The customer premise equipment helps deliver telephony, business and entertainment video, broadband data and Internet access services simultaneously, according to World Wide Packets.
Some of the LE-310’s features include versatile Ethernet service demarcation; low-cost ring architectures; rapid spanning tree protocol and rapid spanning tree domains; low cost transition to gigabit; termination of multiple services; and MDU and MTU aggregation of portals.
