Arthur Mutual Telephone Company, an ILEC that is part of the Ohio consortium Com Net, is using Pannaway Technologies Inc.’s Service Convergence Network (SCN) to deliver voice, video and data services to residents in northwestern Ohio.

Com Net is made up of 21 ILECs and one electrical cooperative, and offers operation support services to its clients providing local telecommunications services.

Arthur Mutual will use Pannaway’s SCN to migrate to an IP BLC system that supports triple-play applications and advanced features, the company said. Arthur Mutual has selected Pannaway’s 48-port broadband access switch to deliver simultaneous ADSL2+ Internet, primary line VoIP with lifeline/E-911 calling and IPTV services. The carrier also will use Pannaway’s broadband access manager system, which helps telcos roll out and maintain services.
