thePlatform, a provider of digital audio and video publishing products, said today it has closed series B financing from Spark Capital, a new venture capital partnership that invests in the media, entertainment and technology industries.

thePlatform also said ABC News, Starz Entertainment Group's Vongo and Amp’d Mobile as customers now using thePlatform Media Publishing System to deliver TV, movie and mobile video content over broadband and wireless networks.
