Information management and storage company EMC Corp. has released the EMC Smarts VoIP Manager, which monitors VoIP network systems and applications for availability, identifying the causes of any problems.
EMC Smarts VoIP Manager discovers network elements such as voice switches, IP PBXs, media gateways and VoIP servers; builds a topology of relationships and dependencies among the application and the infrastructure; and establishes device relationships and interconnectivity within the VoIP infrastructure and with all overlying applications.
EMC Smarts VoIP Manager is driven by information lifecycle management, which enables enterprises to manage their information, from creating to disposal, EMC said.
