Sonus Networks Inc., a VoIP infrastructure supplier for service providers, said at VON it has teamed with IP Unity, a provider of media servers, application servers and applications for IP and TDM networks, to deliver services on the Sonus Certified Consumer Voice over Broadband (c-VoBB) platform.
Sonus c-VoBB enables operators to deploy consumer voice services that include applications from IP Unity, such as Mereon Unified Messaging, Mereon Conferencing, Collaboration, Find me-Follow me, Mereon Color Ringback Tone, and Mereon Video Messaging.
The companies’ partnership calls for continued development of joint next-generation applications.
