CornerStone Telephone Company, an integrated communications provider, has announced it’s teaming with Fibertech Networks, a provider of metropolitan bandwidth services in mid-size cities, to offer its customers higher-quality and higher-speed data and voice services.
Utilizing Fibertech’s existing 150-mile network in Albany will allow CornerStone to transmit voice and data services at greater speeds and handle more bandwidth while keeping overall maintenance costs lower. CornerStone will tap into Fibertech’s network to bring service to businesses within reach of its footprint, offering full redundancy of service, says the company.
According to CornerStone CEO Dan Yamin, partnering with Fibertech further positions the company for growth and expansion in Albany. “Not only will we experience lower local access costs within the metro area, but it also positions us to add new high-bandwidth data and Internet applications to our product portfolio,” he said.
