The Digital Media Technology (DMT) Group of Verizon Business today at the NAB show announced it has brought to North American its ICF Media Platform.

The tool, available through software license or hosted service, quickly formats video to work on any end device.

The ICF Media Platform is aimed at media and entertainment companies with digital content production and distribution needs. Using the ICF Media Platform workflow capabilities, the solution can be tailored to customer needs, including digital content aggregation and syndication to IPTV, broadband TV and mobile video platforms; remote rough-editing; content logging; broadcast archiving and digital asset management; as well as digital dailies.

The solution, which also includes digital rights management capabilities, is available in various software licensing versions, including the mobile solution, which, for $19,500, provides a rack with several servers installed, some recorders, connections to connect to cameras and more. The workgroup solution is for customers who outgrow mobile solution and need more storage. The enterprise solution can serve an unlimited number of users and is much larger version of the workgroup option. And for the hosted solution, Verizon will run the software out of one of its own data centers.
