SureWest Communications on Thursday launched new options for wireless subscribers who travel frequently.
The CLEC’s travel plans are offered in addition to its unlimited calling plans, providing minutes customers can use when making calls from inside the continental United States and Hawaii, outside of SureWest’s coverage area.
“These travel plans provide new flexibility that goes beyond our unlimited monthly flat rate plans,” explained Steve Oldham, SureWest’s president and CEO. “With this expanded service feature, which comes with an unlimited calling plan, SureWest offers a new and valuable option to our California wireless customers who need a lower-cost roaming option when they travel.”
Plans include unlimited calling while within the SureWest coverage area and start with a 60-minute package, and go up to 1,000 minutes. Rates being at $39.99 per month.
