Fixed wireless Internet provider TowerStream Corp. now offers New York City businesses a last-mile T1 service called High-Availability T1+.
High-Availability T1+ is priced at $600 per month and comes with TowerStream’s SLA.
The service will be rolled out to other cities as well.
TowerStream is guaranteeing businesses will receive 99.999 percent availability around the clock, or less than one minute of downtime per month. The company will credit customers as appropriate if longer outages ever occur. TowerStream provides High-Availability T1+ customers with two T1 connections, each pointing at different base stations around the city, offering last-mile redundancy to users.
