Agilent Technologies Inc. on Monday introduced four triple-play test solutions that support the evolution of converged IP infrastructures that can transmit data, voice and video over one network in real time.
Agilent’s N2X multiservices test solution validates data, voice and video services over MPLS/IP core, carrier edge and broadband access infrastructures. Network equipment manufacturers and service providers can identify – before they deploy their networks – whether access network equipment can deliver IPTV QoE expectations for each subscriber under highly scaled and dynamic environments. The Agilent N2X replaces the need to test with a lab full of set-top-boxes and video sources, providing engineers with significant lab-space, financial and time savings.
Agilent’s FrameScope Pro handheld Gigabit Ethernet troubleshooting and benchmarking tool allows network operators to conduct deployment testing of all triple-play elements in one solution.
The Signaling Analyzer’s UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN) Optimizer enables engineers to maximize 3G resources and QoE by providing characterization of UMTS and HSDPA access networks. It provides insight into the UTRAN’s resource allocation, use and performance.
Agilent’s Network Tester for realistic triple-play traffic testing offers a range of application data, voice and video protocols to deliver test realism and measurement precision. Manufacturers and operators can avoid costly service disruption problems by validating network performance limits at the network design and capacity planning stages.
