Warwick Deploys Pannaway’s SCN IP Access Platform

Warwick Valley Telephone (WVT) Communications, a New York-based ILEC and CLEC, has deployed Pannaway Technologies Inc.’s Service Convergence Network IP access platform for delivery of triple-play services to residential and municipal broadband subscribers in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

WVT’s next-generation network consists of Pannaway’s Broadband Aggregation Routers, which deliver gigabit Ethernet-based transport with the capacity to scale to 10gbps; ADSL2+ and Active Ethernet fiber Broadband Access Switches; and Residential Gateway NIDs.

The company will provide triple-play services, which include traditional telephony, VoIP, high-speed data and HDTV, to approximately 20,000 additional subscribers in surrounding areas in the second phase of deployment.
