Following in the footsteps of Verizon Communications Inc. with its V CAST music service and newly announced Chocolate phone, Qwest Communications International Inc. has introduced its competitor, the Samsung A920.

The handset supports full-track music downloading through Qwest Wireless’ music service. It also enables mobile multimedia capabilities such as streaming mobile video, GPS navigation, Bluetooth wireless technology, SIRIUS satellite radio and Music on Demand through Sprint Power Vision.

The Samsung phone features a 1.3 mega pixel camera with flash and digital zoom, plus an embedded stereo speaker and an external TransFLASH memory card for storing content.

Qwest Wireless provisions its services on the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network. The new handset is available with a one- or two-year contract.
