Simplicita Appoints VP of Business Development

Simplicita, a company that frees carrier networks from zombies and botnets, on Tuesday announced the appointment of Daniel Winokur as vice president of business development.

Winokur brings to Simplicita 12 years of Internet and ISP industry experience in business development, marketing and sales. He has led and managed business development activities for technology vendors and ISPs.

In his new position, Winokur is responsible for managing business development as well as building and expanding business relationships with key software, hardware and services vendors, and system integrators. He will head initiatives in technology integration, product bundling and joint marketing-selling programs.

Winokur most recently worked for Openwave Systems as director of strategic business development. Prior to Openwave, he was vice president of business development at USA.NET.
