Aeris, a network services provider for wireless carriers, has expanded its agreement with U.S. Cellular. The deal calls for Aeris to extend its North American CDMA footprint using U.S. Cellular’s network. Aeris also will offer enhanced 1xRTT, SMS, and Micro Burst services.
“Our agreement with Aeris will ensure that customers whose needs include machine-to-machine capabilities will receive the network reliability that our 5.7 million wireless customers enjoy today,” said Jay M. Ellison, executive vice president and COO of U.S. Cellular.
