Antenna designer Mobile Mark Inc. (Booth 423) now offers an economically priced sectorized panel antenna for WiMAX network deployments.
The new PN Series Sectorized Panel Antennas cover 3.4-3.7GHz with 12dBi gain. Front-to-back ratio is maintained at better than 25dBi, allowing for true sectorization.
According to the manufacturer, these new sectorized panel antennas are ideal for point-to-multipoint applications.
They have been well received because they are small and easy to install, the company said in a press statement. The antenna is housed in a weather-proof white ABS radome measuring only 12.5” H x 3” W. Units can be used, added or removed for planned deployments, and to modify systems for the future. All models are supplied with a swivel surface mount that can accommodate either pole- or wall-mounting. The adjustable bracket allows for easy alignment; the bracket features up to 20-degree tilt adjustment.
The PN Series Sector Antennas also are available for the 4.9GHz public safety band as well as for the entire 5GHz-to-6GHz band, which includes 802.11a (5.2GHz and 5.8GHz) and DSRC (5.9GHz).
