Veraz Networks Inc. said Tuesday Sirius Telecom Inc. will deploy additional Veraz media gateways in New York and increase switching capacity by 50 percent.
The need to add the gateways and additional Veraz ControlSwitch capacity is a result of a successful installation in Los Angeles earlier this year, Veraz said.
Sirius Telecommunications provides switch services, switch partitions and private-line services to large international telecom carriers.
