TVN Entertainment Corp. said Tuesday it has reached multiyear agreements with six telecommunications companies to provide a range of VoD services and content packages.

The providers are All West Communications Inc., BTC, Sancom, NTELOS, Pan Handle Telecommunications Systems Inc. and South Slope Cooperative Communications Co.

Each company will have complete access to TVN’s content services, including VoD programming, content aggregation, metadata creation, encoding, transport, asset management and 24-hour customer technical support. TVN will also provide its PPV Event Network and TVNow, which converts live programming into on-demand content that is made available to viewers within hours of the event.

TVN also will provide the companies with access to ADONISS 2, TVN’s advanced asset management suite, which allows content owners and service providers to manage, control and customize their digital assets on a site-by-site basis.

“TVN has deals with every on-demand content company, a best-of-breed platform, and they know how to market VoD,” said Matthew Weller, manager of IP operations for All West. “I can’t imagine trying to launch VoD any other way, and TVN will remain a key partner as we continue to enhance our VoD content offering over time.”
