Transatlantic transport provider Hibernia Atlantic has launched a subsidiary company, Hibernia Metro, which will offer diverse, secure transport products to customers in New York City.
Hibernia Metro's suite of products and services include 10 gigabit Ethernet LAN PHY, gigabit Ethernet in increments of 50mbps, Ethernet in increments of 10, 50 and 100mbps, Ethernet circuits (packet over SONET), and a suite of SONET/SDH circuits.
Hibernia Atlantic’s CEO Bjarni Thorvardarson said following the company’s deployment in New York City, it will pursue other metro markets including Albany, N.Y., Boston, Montreal and Toronto as well as Amsterdam, Netherlands; Brussels, Belgium; Dublin, Ireland; Frankfurt, Germany; London and Manchester, England; and Paris.
