CTC Telcom has selected mobile WiMAX provider SOMA Networks Inc. to extend its network using the FlexMAXTM Wireless System.
By deploying the turnkey 700 MHz band FlexMAX system, CTC Telcom said it is able to supply service to underserved communities and increase broadband penetration in rural Wisconsin.
CTC Telcom said it chose the FlexMAX System for its ability to support multimegabit broadband and advanced applications such as carrier-class VoIP over one IP network, which eliminates the need for separate voice and data networks.
