Concretio announced the expansion of its TRS-On-Demand provisioning platform into the Tier 2 carrier space, in light of those providers becoming involved in offering UNE-P alternatives to ILEC offerings.

As an example, TRS-On-Demand will enable non-facilities-based CLECs and resellers to migrate their residential, business and payphone locations to McLeodUSA’s UNE-P replacement services, reaching more than 600 central office locations in the AT&T Inc. and Qwest Communications International Inc. territories.

“Currently, we are in production with One Communications and have more Tier 2 carriers, including McLeodUSA, ready to launch this quarter,” said John McManus, vice president of sales and marketing at Concretio. “TRS-On-Demand allows CLECs to seamlessly move their customers off of the incumbent ILECs platform in a very efficient manner.”

TRS-On-Demand functionality includes:

• Customizable homepage

• Rapid access to any information or process (typically three clicks or less)

• Alerts for real-time status updates

• Recent history tab, which allows users to look up previously viewed transactions

• Reporting integrated with all provisioning functions

• Nationwide connectivity to all ILECs and other Tier 2 trading partners

• All server hardware and software

• Lower IT support costs

• APIs available to update billing and other parts of OSS

“We not only expanded the product line but we have also provided CLECs with the capabilities to pull and parse an ILEC’s CSR and process it into a Tier 2 carrier order,” added Kevin Williams, Concretio CEO. “Those electronic orders are tracked and monitored along with all other orders that CLECs are processing.”
