Verizon Business is adding ADTRAN Inc.’s NetVanta Ethernet switches and Total Access 900 multiservice access gateways to its CPE for its VoIP services, including IP flexible T1, IP integrated access and hosted IP centrex.
ADTRAN provides packet-based access gateways. The Total Access 900/900e gateways along with NetVanta Ethernet switches deploy converged voice and data services.
The company’s Total Access 900 Series products integrate router, QoS, firewall and SIP gateway into a single platform. The gateways, when used as standalone products or in combination with NetVanta switches simplify the delivery of network-based VoIP services, ADTRAN said.
