Towerstream Expands Service to Oakland

Towerstream said Monday it plans to expand its San Francisco broadband network to include the Oakland, Calif., area.

The company expects to bring new customers online in July 2007.

Towerstream’s customers throughout the Bay Area will have a range of bandwidth options to choose from, including T1, T3, 100mbps and 1,000mbps connections. The company’s fixed wireless broadband network delivers high-speed Internet access supporting VoIP, bandwidth on demand, wireless redundancy, VPNs, disaster recovery, bundled data and video services.

Towerstream also offers a Rapid Installation Program which guarantees installation within 48 hours.

Towerstream currently serves businesses in New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, San Francisco and Providence/Newport, R.I.
