xchange magazine and Trendsmedia, the events and publishing division of Yankee Group, are pleased to announce a call for nominations for the first annual Mobile Internet World Innovation 2007 Awards. The awards will recognize leaders in the development and deployment of mobile Internet technology. Nominations are open to all providers and vendors of mobile Internet technology and applications. The winners will be recognized at the Mobile Internet World Conference & Expo, Nov. 13-15, in Boston. Nominations are being accepted at www.xchangemag.com/mobileinternet2007 from Sept. 17 to Oct. 15.
The Mobile Internet World Conference & Expo will showcase this rapidly evolving technology by bringing together mobile technologies, products, systems and services. With the expansion of mobile Internet, it is fitting that companies be given the opportunity to showcase and be lauded for their groundbreaking accomplishments; therefore, Trendsmedia invited xchange to sponsor the inaugural Mobile Internet Innovation Awards. Trendsmedia and xchange co-produced the Best of WiMAX World Awards series in 2006 and 2007.

The awards will be given in the following categories:

- Most Innovative Enterprise Mobile Internet Application
- Most Innovative Enterprise Mobile Internet Deployment
Final selection of the winners will be made by an independent award selection committee of experts. Winners will be announced during a special presentation at the Mobile Internet World conference on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
